101003 New Windsor vs Valley Central
  • On October 3rd 2010 the Division 1 New Windsor Eagles put on a great offensive show and there best defensive stand of the season shutting out Valley Central Gray 33 to 0. Big runs including 5 touchdown runs, 2 from Quarter Back Tyler Desmond and 1 each from Donovan Kenan, Jake Riccardi, and Joshua Perez. Caleb "the train" Williams and Dominic Valeri softened the Valley Central defense by beating up the middle leading to the five touchdown runs. Incredible blocking from Riley Higgins, John Ulrich, Nicholas Patterson, Brandon DeLaRosa, Casey Shevlin and Elijah Pagan did not go unnoticed. The Eagles defense was at it's best allowing negative yardage with fumble recoveries from Caleb Williams, and Jonathan Tetrault. Dominic Valerie batted down 2 past attempts while Tyrese Richards, Andrew DeLaRosa and Anthony Prioleau Jr were all over the field making solid tackles. Kevin Wanamaker offensive center made the shotgun work successfully and had a handful of tackles on defense. Kenan, Richards, and Ricciardi all assisted on a defensive tackle that could of gave New Windsor a safety but officials ruled it down on the 1 yard line. The coaches agree that this was the best, most consistent and disciplined game played all year. New Windsor D1 will be playing its next game on October 9th at 2pm against Pine Bush Gold in Pine Bush.

100926 New Windsor vs Warwick
  • On September 26, 2010 New Windsor lost a hard fought battle with Warwick Gold. New Windsor started the game with a strong drive with good runs by Caleb Williams, Tyrese Richards, Donovan Kenan and a 30 yard run by Dominic Valreri. New Windsor failed to score but did get the ball back quickly after Tyler Desmond recovered a Warwick fumble. The next offensive drive did result in a touchdown run by Dominic Valeri giving New Windsor a 6 to 0 lead. Warwick would tie the game in the second quarter and take the lead before halftime. After halftime Warwick scored again makeing the score 19 to 6. New Windsor would fight back with a good offensive drive ending with a touchdown run by QB Tyler Desmond. Riley Higgins was a blocking machine on offense, Donovan Kenan did send a mind blowing open field block on one of Warwicks best players. Defensive stand outs making numerous tackles were Dominic Valeri, Tyler Desmond, Donovan Kenan, Kevin Wannamaker, and Caleb Williams. Tackles were also made by Nicholas Patterson, Jake Ricciardi, Brandon DeLaRosa, Andrew DeLaRosa, Johnathan Tetrault and Anthony Prioleau Jr. Casey Shelvin and Johnny Ulrich contributed on offense with outstanding blocking. New Windsor fell short loseing 25 to 13. New Windsor will attempt to return to its winning ways on 10/03/10 home at 11AM against Valley Central Gray.

100919 New Windsor vs Middletown
  • On September 19, 2010 New Windsor Eagles fell to the Middletown Middies 14 to 0. New Windsor started on Defense and on the first play of the game Tyler Desmond recovered a fumble. New Windsor failed to score on there offensive drive. New Windsor did stand tough on defense with strong tackles by Jake Ricciardi, Joshua Perez, Caleb Williams, Dominic Valeri, Donovan Kenan, Kevin Wannamaker, Tyler Desmond, Andrew DeLaRosa, Brandon DeLaRosa, Tyler Desmond and Johnathan Tetrault. The Eagles just couldn't get it's offense going turning the ball over 4 times twice in the red zone. New Windsor will look to gets it's offense started on 09/26/10 in Warwick against Warwick Gold.

100912 New Windsor vs Monticello
  • On September 12, 2010 Division 1 New Windsor Eagles won its second game and its home opener 35 to 12 against Monticello. Highlights of the game included an offensive statement which again was lead by that steel curtain line Tyrese Richards, Brandon DelaRosa, Riley Higgins, Johnny Ulrich, Jake Ricciardi, Kevin Wanamaker and Anthony Prioleau Jr. Caleb "the train" Williams opened the game with a 65 yard touchdown run, also with touchdown runs were Donovan Kenan, Tyler Desmond, Jake Ricciardi and Tyrese Richards. On defense numerous tackles were made by Dominic Valeri, Kevin Wanamaker, Caleb Williams, Jake Ricciardi, Donovan Kenan, Nicholas Patterson, Tyler Desmond, and Brandon DeLaRosa. Jonathan tetrault created and recovered a fumble and Johnny Ulrich had an interception. Joshua Perez batted away a past attempt to help save a possible touchdown. New Windsor Eagles now 2 and 0 will play Middletown at 3PM at its home field Mt Airy Park on 9-19-10.

100905 New Windsor vs Cornwall
  • On September 5, 2010 Division 1 Eagles opened the season in Cornwall with a 20 to 6 victory against Cornwall White. Highlights of the game included he offensive line provideing a steel curtain for its backfield. The starting line which included #2 Tyrese Richards, #9 Brandon DeLaRosa, #11 Riley Higgins, #22 Johnny Ulrich, #23 Jake Ricciardi, #75 Kevin Wanamaker and #88 Anthony Prioleau Jr could not be penetrated. This lead to an excellent running game with hard running from the QB #12 Tyler Desmond and Fullback #34 Caleb "the train" Williams. The offense controlled the tempo of the game including two offensive touchdowns by #43 Dominc Valeri and #28 Donovan Kenan. The defense did not take a back seat with major hits by #63 Jonathan Tetrault and #89 Joshua Perez. Valeri, Kenan, Wanamaker, Desmond, and Ricciardi made defensive hits that got the crowds attention. Also Making defensive contributions were #13 Elijah Pagan, #6 Andrew DeLaRosa, #15 Adam Jimenez and #1 Nicholas Patterson. Casey Shelvin #4 who the coaches say is one of the most versatile players on the team made contributions on both sides of the ball. To put the icing on the cake Kevin Wanamaker starting defensive corner made an interception and ran it back for a touchdown to end the game.
